Had another great dining experience at The Fat Seed - UP Town Center branch. We tried the tuna poke bowl which was very subtle, fresh, and healthy, with generous pieces of really good raw tuna. The kimchi rice with maple bacon was a pleasant surprise because it had such a unique flavor, and my partner even said he’s never tasted pork that good before. We stayed a bit longer to talk about our anniversary trip, so we ordered their special sigay coffee, a chip & walnut cookie and my go-to drink affogato. This was already my third time dining at TFS, and I can confidently say their food quality and service never disappoint. Highly recommended!

We had our dinner here for our anniversary and ordered the following: > Wagyu Pares - includes rice, soup and the wagyu. The wagyu, its sauce and soup tastes good, however, the portion could be a bit bigger for the price. > Tartufo Pasta - Super filling! Portion is appropriate for the price and is very delicious. It has enough sauce and has a lot of mushrooms. I highly recommend this food item. Their coffee tastes also good, goes well with anything. Their service just right. Servers are very approachable and always come right away. Payment processing is fast. The place is kept clean and the ambience is very chill. A lot of people spend their time here working on their laptops. So expect that the store is never empty.
Fat Seed coffee is the most surprising discovery we've had. We've heard this from a friend that they have the best coffee, and it did not disappoint. First coffee is Cappuccino - 5/5 I had Matcha Latte - 4.5/5 Flat White - 5/5 French toast - 5/5 Truffle carbonara - 4.5/5 Fries - 5/5 Staff were all accommodating. Stayed longer here because of heavy rains in QC, good thing they have a wall plug for us to work while we enjoy the coffees. We will definitely go back here.
The Fat Seed Cafe is undeniably our family's ultimate comfort food haven! It's a place where everyone finds something to rave about. My kids can't get enough of their perfect grilled cheese and tomato soup, a classic done just right. My son has a special soft spot for their delightful chicken and waffles and the incredibly comforting pumpkin soup. And my husband? He's completely hooked on the unique and addictive salted egg chicken skin. For me, though, the real win is the fantastic selection of coffee AND cocktails – it truly captures my heart every time we visit. It’s the perfect spot for any mood, any time of day!
I am an avid FatSeed diner who hasn't tried the Ube Waffles with Buttermilk Chicken until one of the staff members in the UPTC branch recommended it. The portion size and taste is muy bien. Always a great place to meet and catch up with friends. This branch looks just a bit cramped compared to the other branches. Luckily, we came at a late hour.
Friendly staff and yummy food—what more could we ask for? We’re obsessed with their salted egg chicken skin and iced lattes! Everything we tried did not disappoint—from the burgers to the chicken, porkchop, and even the soup. You really get what you pay for: quality, flavor, and great service. Always a satisfying visit!
We had late lunch, early dinner so we had a little bit of everything. Fantastic meal! We loved every dish. The mushroom fritters were meaty and seasoned perfectly. Much better option than having french fries. I had the chicken and waffles, super crispy! Steak and garlic rice were ok lang Pero for that price pwede na talaga. My husband had the shaksuka and grilled cheese. Our kibbie had the French toast, matcha shake and salmon. It's worth it to eat there. Servers were also prompt and attentive.
The coffee was excellent. However, the staff here are quite inattentive. The cafe has a nice ambiance, and since it's a roastery, you can expect your coffee to be fresh and aromatic. It would have been perfect if the staff here were more friendly and hospitable. Anyway, you'll want to come here for the coffee.
